WHAT TO EXPECT

You will not have to give details about the sexually violent experiences you have had unless you want to.

During a shamanic healing, your practitioner will begin by asking you a few questions about how you feel, you can share as little or as much as you are comfortable to share.

Journeying is when the practitioner enters an altered state of consciousness that allows them to view beyond ordinary reality on your behalf.

If you are not already familiar with this term, it is almost like dreaming while awake.

You will not enter an altered state of consciousness during the healing session.  The practitioner uses the altered state to be able to view your body and see if they can see any trapped energy that is negatively affecting the way you feel.

The practitioner will clear any energy that isn’t supportive to you that you are ready to release.  When they are finished, they will talk through with you what they worked on and give you some time to feedback and integrate your experience with them.

Before ending the call, the practitioner will talk you through how we can continue to support you.

Whatever you share will not be questioned and you will not be asked to prove anything, your lived experience is what is important to us.  You will also be able to ask any questions that you need answered to feel comfortable to proceed with the healing.

When you are both ready, your practitioner will ask you to lay down and relax, they will then begin to journey for you.

Each of our volunteers has been through a 18 months/2 year shamanic practitioner training with a reputable teacher enabling them to
be insured to share their practice with others.

PRACTITIONERS

We deliver our own inhouse training, that offers a deeper understanding of the complex path of trauma from both a Western and shamanic perspective.  Each practitioner has also undergone our inhouse safeguarding training.

Choose a practitioner that you feel most drawn to.
